Zusammenfassung

Data concerning distribution, movement and formation of dislocations on pyrite (FeS2) crystals are provided. Good crystals of this mineral have been selected. Corrosion pits have been obtained by slow and light corrosion with O.5N NO3H. Movement of dislocations have been observed by appliying a presure of 0,5 on (001) this allowed the determination of active slip systems in pyrite.
