Résumé

Technological Society and Common Good are two concepts that do not seem to be compatible. Coupled together they produce a feeling of worry because they remind us other times, which were happily overcome according to many people. However, this tension can be productive because of the new framework that new technologies are creating and influencing in the socio-cultural sphere, that is to say, a global space known as a Technological Society. This also states the need to explain goods as a meaningful concept to be applied to the contemporary society in order to legitimize it. This meaning should involve a reference to the notion of Common Good, which is a regulative idea springing from the thoughtful dynamics involving the commons. In addition, there is room for demands on social justice and claims for a healthier and well-balanced environment.
