Abstract
This paper describes the structure and operation of a simulated Sequential Logic Programming Machine (MSPL) using Prolog. Our goal has been to built an operational prototype of an abstract machine, easy to modify and capable of being used as an assistant to the conceptual debbuging of several design alternatives, and as a teacher of its basic concepts. This work is part of a project to develop different simulation tools used in hardware evaluation and design of sequential and parallel architectures for logic programming.
