Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify the transversal and longitudinal dental arch dimensions in a sample of ideal spanish adults. Measurement were obtained in dental casts of 106 adults (71 male and 35 female). The results suggested that the lineal are greater in male and maxillary than female and mandibular. By the comparation of the findings between male and female subjects was found that there is differences in the following parameters: intercanine upper width, interpremolar upper width, intermolar upper width, intermolar mandibular width and perimeter of maxillary arch.
