Abstract
This is the case of a three vears old patient with a trisomy 18 (Edward's syndrome). During the clinical examination, severe buccal gingival recession and exposed root surfaces on the mandibular primary molars and canines were noted on both sides of the mouth. After analyzing its possible etiology we think that rather than being a syndromical injury, they are consequence of automutilating behavior of the girl.
