Resumen

En este texto que introduce el monográfico, se retoman, sin pretensión de exhaustividad, algunas de las contribuciones antropológicas y etnográficas al estudio de las políticas públicas. Ellas se vinculan a los problemas que plantea al conocimiento la representación estatocéntrica y burocrático-normativa de las políticas, que suele restringir y orientar el análisis hacia planteamientos �oficiales�, formales, o centrados en la �gobernanza�. El monográfico pretende contribuir a desmontar los estereotipos, prejuicios y simplificaciones comunes que suelen presidir tanto las intervenciones administrativas y políticas, como las tomas de posición de los agentes sociales con respecto a ellas.
