Resumo
This text analyses the context and debate of the reform of the regulation of the regional parliament of Castilla la Mancha regarding the salaries of MPs. Although the Spanish Constitutional Court (STC 36/2014, of 25 February) backed the reform, the author argues that the motivations of the reform are not convincing, particular since the new regulation will be applied retroactively to the MPs in the middle of the Legislature. At the same time the regulation of incompatibilities will remain unchanged, which seems to provoke a disproportionate alteration of the conditions of access ex post facto with insufficient justification.
