Abstract

Jesús Ibáñez proposed two concepts: transduction and unexactness, both placed in a methodological dimension, but also indicating an epistemological renovation, for Social Sciences in general, and Soiology in particular. They poinnt to a deep critique of positivism funcionalis basis; a critique that shows both the sterility of such presupositions and their ideological contamination. Dunctionalism has only fulfill the objective of consolidate domination logics, justifying the goodness of a world based on, by nature, on inequality. To take away those kind of squemes, that produce people that think that things are as are becausse there are not alternatives, unexactness as methodological criteria is a significant startpoint: it makes social research a human task, a task that has to be undertaken by a prudent man (following Aubenque intrepretation of the aristotelical concept of “phronesis”), absolutely different of the pretencious divine “sophia”, property of feceless goods. We wil propose here an “unexactness guide” for social research that adds creativity and social change capability; we´ll develop the sense of what we name “transductive unexactness”.
