Abstract
Nowadays the diagnosis and treatment of oral tumors in chil- dren are a diagnostic challenge for the professional. It is es- sential to make a correct clinical history and examination to determine the benign or malignant lesion and establish a treatment plan according to the characteristics of the le- sion. This paper presents the case of a Caucasian girl, from a multiple pregnancy with triplets, who at the age of nine months showed a bulge in the back right side of the upper jaw. After the diagnosis and complementary tests, it was ru - led that the lesion present indicators of malignancy and a presumptive diagnosis of eruption cyst was performed. The diagnosis was later confirmed by the evolution of the lesion which spontaneously disappeared gradually. At 15 months old, she showed a normal eruption stage, in both the chro- nology as the eruptive sequence.
