Resumo
Postoperative pain is frequent after endodontic procedures. Some clinicians believe that manteining apical potency may increase the incidence of postendodontic pain. The purpose of this prospective study is to compare the incidence of post endodontic pain with the maintenance of apical potency or not. There was no significant difference in the incidence of pain {p= 1) between the two groups, not even in the degree, type or length of it.
