The prevalence and severity of periodontal disease (EPO) in 20 patients afects by VIH (17 men and 3 women middle age 28.2 ± 4.8 years) with study alter of inmunity (quotient T4/T8< 1.1) was studied in comparation normal group of 27 persons (23 men and 4 women middleage 29.4 ± 1.7 years). The medium quotient T/4 T/8 in the study group was 0.36 ± 0.30 are decrease of absolute form recount cellules T/4 in patients 65 % and increase of absolute from recount cellules T/8 in patients 25 %. The plasma level of IgG was 21.17 ± 718 mg/dl. staying increase in patients 87:5 %. IgA and IgM don't showing importants alterations. All members of both groups are afects by EPO. The severity of disease is greater in the group patients by VIH concerning control (grade I, 45.0 carried forward 51.8%; grade II, 75.0 carried forward 100%; grade III, 40.0 carried forward 37:0%; grade IV, L5.0 carried forward 0.0 %). Conclusively the results is compatible with the paper postulate for the T. lymphocytes how slowing agents of progresion of EPO and that absence of greater increase atribute use of the antimicrobial drugs in this patients.
