Abstract
The ultimate goal in the treatment of destructive chronic periodontal disease is the restitution of the lost supporting periodontal aparatus. Recently, a technique named "guided tissue regeneration" has been described in the literature. The purpose of this article is to describe this treatment modality and the results obteined in a series of patients treated with such technique.
