Abstract

The central aim of this work is to focus on one of the most important sectors of Spanish economy, the pharmaceutical sector. Moreover, it asks itself how the medicines get to become the fifth most exported product from Spain in the last decade. It is important to remind the regulation that maintains this market and thus, with the purpose of a complete understanding, it is required to detail certain sentences which have outlined the free movement of wares, it is also required to include the definition of parallel exportations and to explain the incorporation of medicaments at both national and international level, as well as regional level. The importance of this topic is based on the fact that this area might be the key to raise the Spanish economy in the next fewyears. If this market manages to progress, it can provide us with business opportunities, positive future expectations and an exponential economical increase. We will attempt to explain the success of its external area and get to attach to the development of the Spanish economy.
