Abstract
The osteochondroma is a tumour frequently located in the epiphyseal portian of long bones, but not in the cervicofacial region. We presenta case report of a woman who suffered both ocular and breast tumours, to whom tests were practised in arder to determine the origin of a pain in rhe mandibular angle. The cervical Computerized Axial Tomography revealed a cervical mass which was excised and diagnosed as atlas osteochondroma in the histopathologic study, the irritation of sensory branches of C2 in volved in the innervation of the mandibular angle being the possible initial cause of this clinical picture.
