Abstract

The Instrument of Comprehension, Assessment and Monitoring of Cross-Curricular Competences for students (PIAESCE) is presented herein, with the purpose to achieve an active participation from the student in respect of the comprehension, assessment and monitoring of his cross-curricular competences. This medium results from the research done over the relevance of the cross-curricular competences in which professors and students from the Social Work Degree at Universidad Complutense de Madrid have taken part, intending to analyze the key elements that encourage the active participation of the students with their training in competences according to the instructions marked down by the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
