The consideration of the Spanish economy as one of the most affected by the recent global financial crisis of 2007 encourages the analysis of his performance against such a disturbance without forgetting both the prior evidence and the historical conditions. Finally, the comparison with the Irish economy allows us to understand how Spain is not the only major affected by the recent crisis.
