Abstract
This paper analyzes the new orders for access to evidence, introduced in the Spanish Code of Civil Procedure by Decree-law 9/2017, serving the purpose to implement the provisions of Directive 2014/104/EU regarding civil procedures to claim damages arising from antitrust practices. After considering the new general rules (on possible content of the orders, requirements and procedure to grant them), the paper tackles the more specific issue of access to information and evidence in the possession of national competition authorities.
