Resumen

El desarrollo de las nuevas tecnologías está cambiando radicalmente el entorno en que todos, en particular la infancia, la adolescencia y la juventud, se comunican y aprenden, muy distinto del heredado de la imprenta y configurado en torno a la forma de lectura propiciada por esta y adaptada a la escuela. Sin embargo, la institución se mantiene relativamente impermeable a su penetración por la resistencia de la profesión docente, que combina un doble discurso de descalificación del nuevo entorno y aceptación puramente formal, con una aceptación selectiva, al servicio de las prácticas tradicionales.
