Abstract
This paper tries to show how the regicide, the dead of the king, has to be studied in medieval times from a legal (criminal) perspective and, at the same time, from a political (constitutional) one. The most refined example is found in the Código de las Siete Partidas by Alfonso X el Sabio, where both directions are related and interconnected.
