In recent years, governments at the global level have made significant efforts to reduce and control the public deficit, reflecting new fiscal policies of restriction and control of economic variables such as external debt, Gross Domestic Product (GDP), the rate of unemployment, etc., motivated by the citizens’ demands for better results from the governments. The review of relational studies has identified specific issues such as: transparency, access to information, accountability and the evolution of performance indicators in governance, among others. In this sense, the actions and decisions of the managers in the administration must be made more transparent; given that accessibility to public information is key to the perception of open government.
