Abstract
Military intelligence information systems were the cornerstone of the use of large populations as a weapon of war in the 20th century. Their tactics, widespread since the First World War throughout Europe, developed into a civil war like the Spanish one, especially in the so-called counter-espionage service. The northern front was the space chosen for the implementation of so-called “retrospective information”.
