Abstract

Introduction: the dermatological clinic The skin is an accessible organ that requires consultation by prevention, treatment or esthetics, of the majority of humans. Therefore, every physician should have sufficient clinical criteria to approach a diagnosis or refer the specialist in a timely manner. Semiological tools . They are based on an adequate clinical history containing anamnesis, general physical examination and cutaneous, stopping in the identification of elemental lesions and their characteristics, and complementary and generic explorations of the skin. Diagnostic strategies The semiological tools referred to, together with the arrangement and distribution of lesions and specific cutaneous signs, allow to carry a reasoning that approximates a diagnosis or at least a correct criterion of referral to the specialist.
