Résumé

This paper explores the differences in both access and use of information and communication technologies (ICT) by elderly women in the Europe of 28. An analysis of secondary sources based on Eurostat data is presented, which allows us to describe and compare the access and use of technologies among elderly women, with special attention to the differences between countries and their geographical location within Europe. The aim is to find out whether there are differences in access and use of ICTs according to age and gender, which could constitute a double vulnerability in the use of these technologies, and thus further increase the digital divide and contribute to greater social exclusion of elderly women.
