Resumen

Dado que no hay mucha información sobre la Petra romana, especialmente proveniente de textos escritos, la intención de este artículo es averiguar si los monumentos y edificios construidos o modificados en esta etapa, sumados a los resultados de recientes excavaciones arqueológicas llevadas a cabo en Petra –algunas de las cuales continúan en la actualidad- ofrecen la imagen de algunos cambios cuyo significado y alcance puedan comenzar a ser analizados.
