Abstract

This paper addresses an opportunity factor: the recent enactment of Act 25/2011, of 1 August 2011, that met the compulsory implementation of Directive 2007/36/EC, regarding certain rights of listed companies’ shareholders. It raises the radical alternative for the Shareholders’ Meeting: reform or suppression. Recent reforms play in favour of the first.
