Loa-loa filariasis an helminth transmitted to the humans by the Chrysops' bite, in the equatorial regions of Africa. The adult forms pass to the subcutaneous connective tissue and we occasionally can see it crossing the conjunctive. Diagnosis is made by the isolation and identification of adults and microfilarias. Sometimes, radiology can objectivate calcifatied worms in the subcutaneous tissue, but this finding in a conjunctival site, is extremely uncommon . We present a case of a Guinean woman with a calcificatied conjunctival filaria, «Cala bar swell» and subcutaneous calcifications. Microfilaremia was negative. The microscopic analysis of the adult forms confirmed the suspect of Loa-loa infestation, being this calcificatied conjunctival form, the second case reported to date.
