Abstract

We report a set of software tools, aimed to enforce teaching Optics on engineering studies at University of Alcalá. These tools have been developed in Matlab, including different topics in Optics (interference and diffraction, radiometry and photometry, holography…). Interaction with real world is also foreseen (image acquisition, computer hologram generation, etc.) Therefore, students can check virtual and real experimentation of optics phenomena using the same software application.
