Abstract
In the context of a political authority concept that Martin Luther bases directly on God’s will, the German theologian explains the critical relationship of the Christians to the authority, whereby he underlines the Christian duty of complying with the laws without any possibility of disobeying them and the willingness of the Christian to take on positions of authority
