Abstract
The mineral medicinal waters used as a therapeutic tool can lead to an obvious benefit in health status, but also to a number of adverse or unwanted effects, or cause intolerances or constitute a contraindication, as it occurs with any other therapeutic resource. The purpose of this review is to help completing the "leaflet" of the mineral medicinal waters as a therapeutic agent in all those aspects that may be considered negative in the thermal cure.
