Resumen

From the outset of his dramaturgical writing, Federico García Lorca was particularly interested in the theatrical form of the auto sacramental. Learning from the baroque model of the auto sacramental, Lorca explores different possibilities that may bring together the theatrical representation and the audience. Influenced by both this form of theatrical expression and the Belgian playwright Maurice Maeterlinck, Lorca develops an innovative approach to the auto sacramental that transcends the theological dimension of its origin.
