Abstract
The beneficial effects of the water from Fuente Amargosa de Tolox (Malaga) have been known since ancient times. In this article we have made a compilation of the history of the Spa through different bibliographical sources, and comments and writings of numerous agustists who have received treatment and travelers who have passed through those places. We include a brief study of its situation, climate, flora, fauna and agriculture, geology, analysis, water characteristics, Spa facilities and treatments.
