Abstract

Since 2013 the European Union is playing a more active role in Defence following two main lines: military and industrial cooperation. The political goal is to achieve greater strategic autonomy. The specific result is the approval of the European Defence Plan based on three main pillars: financial, block chain focused in support to SMEs and common market rules. From an industrial perspective the target is to enhance the pan European cooperation as a tool to foster competitiveness. This target will lead to set specific strategies. The European defence industry should be aware that the future focus will be in Brussels
