Abstract

The results obtained in the project of “Analysis of digital pedagogies: communication, social networks and new narratives (CoReN)” are presented. It is part of the support plan for teaching innovation at the UNED, Vicerrectorado de Metodología e Innovación, support of the Instituto Universitario de Educación a Distancia (IUED). The aim of the project was to offer a cartography of digital pedagogies based on the results obtained from the potential of the pedagogical initiatives, launched during the 2017-2018 academic year. These pedagogical initiatives were based on innovative communication processes, social networks, new narratives and performance rituals. The research methodology was developed with a mixed design (quantitative and qualitative). Two ad hoc questionnaires (pretest and posttest) and discussion groups were used to reflect on the teaching methodology implemented. The results show the positive evaluation of the students on the pedagogical proposals developed, high levels of satisfaction and perceived utility. It is concluded that the students value the pedagogical initiatives and that the success of these experiences depends on the sustenance in the previous and wellfounded decisions of the innovations.
