Resumen
El Renacimiento ha sido presentado como una época de ruptura con el pasado medieval. Sin embargo, el “humanismo” de la nueva época no puede explicarse sin corrientes tardomedievales, como las de los moderni nominalistas, el renacer del agustinismo o la Devotio moderna, que permiten hablar de una “modernidad” medieval.
