Abstract

The article studies the commissions made by the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando to Juan Moreno Salgado and José Herrera, bookbinders, in the last quarter of the 18th century. For this purpose, the books of accounts and files of the Archive have been consulted and the bindings reviewed in the documentation, been identified, thus allowing better understanding of the types of bindings ordered.
