Abstract
The nursery-designed, structured, educative program for patients with lung transplants is efficient because it achieves the goal of informing the patients about their transplant and how to continue with a healthy treatment. With this program patients get a better adhesion to the oral and nebulized pharmaceuticals and obtain a better self-control of the surgery¿s results with the in-house spirometry. What is more, the program encourages the hygienic and dietetic aspects of the treatment in order to reduce the infection risks, and other complications associated with the lung transplant.
