Contratos de energía y PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements)

Abstract

The current process of energy transition has boosted the development of renewable energies in our country, this sector thus manages to position itself today based on renewed strategies and projects, focusing on the interest in ensuring a more sustainable and eco-efficient entrepreneurship. In view of these conditions and the current context of changing economic, social and environmental paradigms, new contracting formulas are being implemented in order to promote solid and viable “energy projects” from a technical, legal and financial perspective. In this sense, the purchase and sale of energy agreements (PPAs) are increasingly increasing, so highlighting their full relevance and high projection are subject to special analysis in this work.
