Resum

According to H. J. Wolff’s proposal of 1970, the πρᾶξις-clause «καθάπερ ἐκ δίκης» substituted the clause «κατὰ τὸ διάγραμμα» after the suppression of the Greek courts (δικαστήρια) on ca. 170 CE. This paper submits this theory, which is essential to understand the true nature of the καθάπερ ἐκ δίκης-clause, to a critical revision based on the papyrological evidences.
