Résumé

This thesis attempts to identify the factors that determine the degree of the quality of democracy in countries that have experienced recent processes of democratization, for it has an overview of processes lived in Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru since the late and 1970 and the beginning of the next, when democratic regimes were established in each of them. It also makes a conceptual debate about the quality of democracy and the classification of political regimes, referencing the three countries
