Abstract

Ten years ago, a social, political and intellectual singularity arose in Iran under the name of Green Movement, sought to bring about a change in the Iranian regime, unmoved since Islamic Revolution times. However, the movement was crushed and its leaders were imprisoned, without producing the desired changes. Over time, movement´s principles have remained, taking place several reform attempts, being the most significant the one that coincided with the so-called Arab Springs. Regardless of the overall picture current situation is particularly significant, because of US pressure Iranians face the dilemma of continuing their foreign expansion or resolving their serious domestic problems.
