Laburpena

In this review is intended to implement the Evidence-based indications of a placement of inferior vena cava filter, and a comparison with the classic signs. It also reviews the indications of temporary vena cava filters, as well as their characteristics, advantages and disadvantages. Finally a brief mention of the indication of inferior vena cava filter in some special cases, such as cancer patients and polytraumatized.
