Abstract

The meticulous care of the diabetic foot is essential to prevent infections and complications such as amputation and sepsis. This care should begin in the detection, diagnosis and proper treatment and prevention of diabetic ulcers. We review the epidemiology, clinical features, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diabetic ulcers, mostly in their early stages is not complicated.
