Abstract
The dry skin or xerosis is a very common problem in the podiatric offices, mainly in the geriatric patients. Although in most of the cases it is asyntomatic, are there times that can entail serious difficulties for the deambulation. In this review, a global vision of this affection is offered, in addition to general and specific guidelines of treatment.
