Abstract
The same as happens with Miguel de Cervantes’ book, the prologue to the second part of El Ingenioso Caballero don Quijote de la Mancha, signed by Alonso Fernández de Avellaneda a year before. The true creator of don Quixote must respond to the insults of the false author, which makes him specify particular events happened in his life and set the keys of his book. That is the reason why this document is considered fundamental to know all the details about the life of the author and about the most universal book in Spanish Literature.
