Abstract
The Army Headquarters Library is one of the most important libraries among the Documental Centres belonging to Armed Forces. Its central location makes possible agreat number of users’ consultations, especially military personnel although civilians canal so consultaking a previous appointment. The Library has a very important documentary stock, standing out Gaceta de Madrid (Madrid Gazette) as well as several legislative collections. The Collection is divided bytopics where the same subjects as the ones in a general scope public library can be found,and in military topics where subjects as armament, aviation, war navy, geography and history, regulations and legislation,stand out among others. Lending Service stands out among all the services that the library offers, in the library lounge as welll as delivery lending, and the information and reference service.
