Abstract
From UNESCO to promote studies in 1972, 1996, and in 2002 an eight skills are specified, research in neuroscience, psychology and education in recent years have changed the way of understanding how the brain processes taking making and emotions, placing emotional competence essential part thereof. This paper presents a review of the state of the question and checking the use of emotional competence as a tool to combat the problems of coexistence in the classroom and conflicting behaviors. Emotional management programs for creative resolution of these conflicts are collected; well as specific programs implemented in all levels of education,'' outside the curriculum "; well, incorporating the emotional competence with the rest of basic skills. The paper concludes by noting that the adoption of these based on the implementation of emotions and feelings in human education, with involvement of the entire school community and the family as the first school for emotional learning programs have an impact on improving the solution conflict and school life.
