Abstract

Zaragoza Lingüística is the name given to a face-to-face seminar held monthly at the University of Zaragoza that aims to disseminate results and cutting-edge research topics in the field of general and applied linguistics. High-level specialists and researchers participate in the seminar. In recent years, a set of actions aimed at using the contents generated with a teaching function have been articulated around the seminar. In this way, teaching activities have been proposed to the students of Modern Languages, and Journalism vídeos of the seminar, educational resources and several computer applications have been created. All these initiatives have been carried out in successive educational innovation projects. Actions taken within these projects have not only enriched the original goal of the seminar, but also turned this seminar into an illustrative example of ongoing educational innovation, always in continuous expansion with new ideas and applications. In this article, the seminar and the main actions that have been implemented are described.
