Adverse events related to health care, are increasingly common. It has been estimated that between 44000 and 98000 patients of U.S. hospitals die from adverse events related to health care. In 7000 instances these deaths are caused by medication errors. The studies in Spain performed of similar figures. The emergency services are usually excluded in these studies because of their particular characteristics, but it is also well known that these are characteristics (speed of decision-making, not having systems in unit dose dispensing ...) what is expected that mistakes can be produced in larger numbers in emergency services in the areas of Spain hospitalization. The administration of medicines rests with the nurses and that is why within the numerous medication errors that may occur in this work we will study this faze. Differences studies suggest direct observation as the most reliable method to detect errors in administration
