Resumen

A new tonalite massif in the centro-iberian region is described. They are scarce and early intrusions outcropping as small massifs ( < 1 km2) in the widespread hercynian granitic magmatism. Aldeaencabo tona/ite is characterised by the lack of metaluminous minerals as amphibole or pyroxenes. Chemically is a peraluminous rock rich in incompatible elements (K, Rb, Zr, REE) in comparison to other nearby tonalites. An intracontinental calkalkaline affinity is defined. Nevertheless, the low Ca, Na and Sr contents point to a supressed mant/e contibution in the genesis of this rock
