The Supreme Court annuls in its 18th april, 2017, ruling a judgment of the High Court of Justice of Madrid regarding the fair price of a land located in the District of Usera. The Spanish High Court estimates that there was an error in calculating the urban use that was to be attributed to expropriated land. Finally, the Supreme Court considers that it is not possible to apply the correction coefficient M provided for in Royal Decree 1020/93 on the rateable value of real estate of an urban nature, as a result of a devaluation of expropriated land.
